This 1911 Build Class is the ultimate learning experience for gun enthusiasts. It offers a hands-on approach to understanding the inner workings and capabilities of the iconic 1911 platform. Through expert instruction, students will learn how to build, assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot their own 1911 pistol with confidence.
The course will cover the following topics:
Introduction to the 1911 Pistol, including a historical overview and the different types of 1911s available and their uses
Completing and prepping the reciever for parts
Frame and Slide Assembly, including proper installation and fitting of the frame and slide components, and the different types of frames and slides available
Barrel and Bushing Assembly, including proper installation and fitting of the barrel and bushing, and the different types of barrels and bushings available
Trigger and Sights Assembly, including proper installation and adjustment of the trigger and sights, and the different types of triggers and sights available
Magazine and Grip Assembly, including proper installation and adjustment of magazines and grips, and the different types of magazines and grips available
Assembly and Function Test, where students will assemble their own 1911 pistol under the guidance of the instructor and perform function testing and troubleshooting
Conclusion and Maintenance, including a summary of key takeaways from the class, proper maintenance and storage of a 1911 pistol, and additional resources for further learning and practice

This is an online instructor led class. Course is taught by Chief Instructor Marine Gun Builder & Rogue Banshee
